This two-volume set of books explores the history of the Illinois Conservation Police as it relates to the conservation movement and policing in general, and its relationship to the state's sordid political system.
Volume I, covering the period from Illinois' settlement days to 1950, was first published in 2019. Volume II, covering the modern-day period of conservation law enforcement - 1950 to 2020, was first published in 2022.
These books are sold as a set. The only exception to this rule is that those who previously purchased Volume I are permitted to buy Volume II separately.
